General Questions
Due to the customized nature of our products, returns are only accepted if there is a manufacturer defect or a mistake on our part that was not part of the final proofing approval. Your item(s) must be returned to us for verification of the damage or design issue. A replacement product or refund will be issued upon verification.
We will always do our best to meet your deadline requirements, with the understanding that product availability and workload may affect production and shipping time frames.
Unless otherwise stated in the product description on our website, the minimum quantity for a bulk order is 6 pieces of the same product.
A discount will be considered for quantities of 25 or more of one item, unless the item description states a minimum order quantity required (MOQR).
If your order is not a total design-and-create project and you have provided a logo or file to customize the product, you will be allowed two minor changes (e.g., adjusting size and location). After that, we will discuss ongoing design and development charges before proceeding further.
Personalization & Laser Engraving
Please email your design file to the contact address listed above. If you are sending a vector file, we accept black-and-white files in .svg, .cdr, or .ai format. If a vector file is not available, please send a sharp, clear black-and-white photo of the artwork in .jpg, .png, .bmp, or .tif format. You may also call us to discuss other options.
The character limit depends on the surface area of the project. Keep in mind that the more characters there are, the smaller the text will appear.
Yes. We will send a digital proof of the final product design for your approval.
File formats requested: .SVG or .PLT
Photos received as .JPG or .JPEG. will require an additional design fee in order to create the proper file format for engraving.
Cerakote
No. Cerakote can be applied to all types of substrates. If you have questions about your specific project, please contact us.

You will need to locate an FFL-licensed dealer to legally ship your firearm to us. You should be prepared to pay that dealer for packaging (if needed), carrier shipping plus insurance (for the value of the firearm), and any handling charge they require. Once the firearm is complete, we will ship it back to you. In addition to the customization charge, return shipping charges will be added to your invoice, including carrier shipping costs and insurance based on the increased value of the firearm after customization.

UV Printing
Hard substrates such as wood, acrylic, and glass can be used for UV printing. Metal is not a good choice due to outdoor temperature fluctuations—metal expands and contracts, which can cause the ink to crack.
Yes, if the material is stabilized with a hard backing or frame. Otherwise, the ink will be subject to cracking.
Yes. We will send you a digital proof of the final product design for your approval.
Custom-printed items should be hand-washed with a non-abrasive cloth and mild soap rather than placed in a dishwasher.
Yes. The resulting size of the logo will be affected by the curvature of the product.
RMF Coatings, LLC requests digital photos, provided by the customer, to be in one of the following formats: .tiff or .eps.
Photo files in .jpg or .jpeg format will require a format conversion charge to convert the file to a high-quality format for printing. Any changes to the original picture (i.e. Color Enhancements, removal of distractions, General photo editing) in any of these file formats will incur an art fee at an hourly rate of $145 per hour with a half hour minimum.
